NUFS FASHION SHOW 2019: 'UNPLUGGED'; What you need to know

Our annual fashion show is now less than a week away and we couldn’t be more excited for our fashionable weekend! To keep you in the loop while the show comes together, we have compiled all the info that you need to know in this blog post.

What is this Years theme?

To celebrate fashion in Newcastle University, despite the lack of it in our curriculum we are putting on a fashion show, larger than ever, to farewell our founding members who are graduating this year. The entire production is a collaboration of different academic disciplines, none of which are fashion related. What does a computer/finance/architect student have to say about fashion? What do the sewing skills of a dental student look like? Come along on the 12th of May and find out!

Where is the show?

In order to accommodate our audience this year’s fashion show will be held at the Civic Center. Doors will open at 5pm. Guests will be able to mingle, have a drink and shop for unique pieces in our pop up boutiques. The catwalk will begin at 6pm sharp and will end at 9pm; this includes a 30’ intermission to unwind, get another drink and shop some more!

What designers are showcasing this year?

The latest collections of the following designers will be presented in this years show: Superdry, Urban Outfitters, COS, Trendlistr, Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Just Harry, Warmm and our very own NUFS collection made from our members.

What is the dress code?

This is an event that celebrates personal style, so bring your best self!

Where can I get tickets?

Tickets can be purchased here. Tickets are available until 2pm on Sunday the 12th, so make sure to get them in time! General entry tickets are already sold out!!

Afterparty?

All fashion show attendees are invited to our private afterparty at Livello, which will start at 11pm! Free entry and special drink prices for everyone.
